My 1 1/2 year old grandson was going here and it was awful! I have a background in Child Care and NAEYC Accreditation and when I watched the cameras it broke my heart. He was new to the center and he would cry all by himself and they would not show him any attention. The 2 teachers in the class would throw them into the chairs at the table. I never saw them play with toys, once he went outside. They kept them at the table most of the day and then had nap time. It was AWFUL!!! Please do not put your children at this center. Thank goodness they had cameras so parents can see how terribly their teachers treated them. They would throw their drinks and food down in front of them....if they even got any. The Director of this Center should be reprimanded!!! Then to remove him from the center they made they pay a huge fee! Beware the center is beautiful on the outside but what goes on behind closed doors is NOT an Accredited type center.

Worst daycare ever. Unprofessional staff and Inexperienced teachers. Personally, I’ve witnessed a few teachers mishandled students, by grabbing them by the arm and forcefully sitting them down. Most of the teaches in PS1 don’t have any experience with dealing with children. They talk to them crazy, don’t even have the decency to wipe their noses when it’s clearly running and don’t even change their diaper when there has been a BM. Furthermore, they don’t care about the safety of the children here. They will preach that safety’s is the #1 priority, but in reality it’s not. My child had a busted lip just a few days ago and you would think that wouldn’t happen while in their care. Malak, the daycare owner only cares about receiving money. We reached out to her about a few concerns regarding our child but was told we couldn’t speak with her. Totally unprofessional and I would never come back again. Look elsewhere if you want a daycare that cares.
