Good Beginnings Child Care Center

I have been using Good Beginnings now for six years. My children love going, and affectioqantely care/love their teachers. My little one is always happy when i drop her off, and happily playing when i pick them up.My boys are now in public school and go half a day, but the daycare taught them many of their basics and then some. (They are ahead of some of the other kids in their class.) Yes there were times when one of my children was bitten or scratched, then there were times when my child was the one doing the biting. Each time the individual situation was handled professionaly. If at anytime I have had an issue or concern, the staff has always been willing to listen to what they were, and were always taken care of. As far as the owner goes, she is a very caring person, and gets to know you personally , rather than just a income. This daycare might not have the high tech equipment that your chain daycares do like monitors in the rooms so that you can watch form work, but i have never felt uncompfortable or worried about my childrens care.

I’m sad I have to give this place one star.

Moms, I’m not going to go into great detail here but please, just don’t.  It’s not worth it.  Barbara will give you a GREAT price, but it isn’t worth it.  All the children do all day is learn to curse, name call, bite and yell.  It is basically semi-supervised play all day.  They will never know how your child got hurt and they all deny everything and blame it on other teachers there.  the drama that comes along with dropping your children off there is similar to that of a 9th grade high school classroom.  My children came home with countless bites and diaper rashes, and no one ever knew what happened.  Also, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, they are "connected" meaning when something terrible does happen, it will just blow over like it never happened even if you report it to the police!  I thought the fact that they had been in business forever with no violations on the states website was a wonderful thing, I couldn’t have been more wrong :(
