I would not RECOMMEND this daycare to anyone. If you want your child taking care of the way you do at home! This place is not it! They definitely have favoritism towards certain parents and employees. My child gets in my care starving when i pick her up! She is starting to cry now not to go! They can't keep any good employees because the owners are very rude. Since the pandemic they haven't (as in owner's) haven't shown one bit of sympathy for the workers or the parents! They wasn't even there majority of the pandemic! DON'T RECOMMEND ONE BIT!!! YOU WILL GET IN A BIND WITH THIS DAYCARE!
If your looking for a place that would care for your kid like you do. This place os not it, I've been with this daycare quit some time now & anytime i ask the staff or owners something. Its always "IDK". Since this covid they have shown thier true colors. Anytime my vhild got hurt , they are quick to make you sign the paper but dont show much concern on what actually happened ' even sometimes don't even know!!!! Especially since we waiting on if a parent has tested postive. Me & A few other moms had been waiting on a update before sending our kids to school. They told us about it friday. It is now thursday with no update . even if it was to let everyone know the parent still didn't get resukts back yet! Im not having to pay 2 babysitter because of this!!!! IM VERY UNHAPPY!!!!
One of the major things and concerns I have noticed with this daycare is the lack of supervision from the providers since Covid. Having said this, seems like the workers (only a select few) have let the daycare run itself. Its no longer a learning facility but rather a babysitting service. Would be nice to have the owners or providers readily available when there is a concern or question instead of getting the blank stare and response of “I don’t know”. No one seems to know much when asked. Again, just my observation as I’m not one to complain much but if you’re looking for a daycare that cares... may not make this your first choice.
Within 3 months, my child was sent home 5 times due to head lice. Each instance involved several days missed of work/daycare, as I learned it became necessary to provide clearance from a doctor to return. Even more concerning, is that the daycare claimed that my daughter was the ONLY child affected and therefore, the cause. Despite their claims, I was never able to find anything in her hair aside from the 1st instance. Nevertheless, each time I followed all recommended protocols in cleansing and treating our home, cars, etc., several times. I even brought my daughter to a dermatologist for prescription treatment/prevention, and had Orkin conduct additional treatment in our home. For the 4th instance, she was sent home for supposed lice/nits on Thursday. I kept her home Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and did NOT treat her hair, as I saw no lice/nits in her hair yet again. Monday morning, she was cleared by a physician. He informed me that not only is her hair clear, but there was no way she had lice to the extent the school claimed over the last 3 months since there was no evidence of bites, scratches, nits, or lice. When I informed the daycare of this information, they were adamant that my daughter was the ONLY child with a lice problem and even accused me as being the source of the "super lice" I must have in my home! Each day from that point on her hair was tightly braided into a ballerina bun with lots of hairspray, as we were told this would help. A few weeks later, we started a new daycare the day after the 5th instance. I feel as though I am an accommodating and reasonable parent. I put forth my best effort to work with the daycare in remediating the situation, but to no avail. This situation was not only unnecessary, but extremely frustrating, humiliating, and expensive. Since leaving G&G, there have been no signs of any problems regarding my child's hair
