I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I feel compelled to write this. Desiree puts her heart in caring for the kids in her daycare. Our family was lucky to have her for over 8years. We never had a problem she was always understanding willing to help us out. We can’t say enough on how we appreciate her and our children loved her. We are home schooling or children now and can’t imagine how she does it. Thank you Desiree for all you do.

Owner response : Thank YOU both for the kind words. It means very much to me. We miss you all. Those years went by so fast. I so enjoy watching your posts on FB it warms my heart to see them grow. Sending my best, Love Desiree

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Desiree took care of my 8 month old for 4 days before making me leave work to come and get her and I was informed upon picking my daughter up that she “is not welcome back.” Left us without care and didn’t even give my daughter a chance to adjust to the new environment. My daughter is now in a different daycare that she loves and is comfortable at. No more middle of the day phone calls telling me that my daughter is miserable and influencing the older kids to act out. We were so excited about Desiree, and even more excited about her prices. Extremely disappointed in our first daycare experience. Now we know why it was so cheap! Save yourself some time and steer clear.

Owner response : The first 2 weeks are a trial period. Getting your child ready for care is vital. This Mom did not read my Policy and Contract even though she signed it. I will not put a child under 1yr to bed with a blanket and tethered pacifier. That is a MN State rule. Also, I follow the Fed. guidelines on nutrition. Bringing 1 bottle with 5oz of breastmilk for the day is not sufficient. I will not withhold food from a child. I did NOT know about this review till one of my parents told me about it. Out of character she said. Yes, this review is. I take pride that each day my daycare children's needs and wants are met. This little one screamed when any of the other children came close to her. I tried to talk to this Mom about this and the other issues, I realized Mom was not going to work with me when Mom showed up unexpectedly at lunch time upset that I was going to feed her lunch with the other children to help her socialize. Mom's attitude towards the other children was rude. I told her "that doesn't work here" Mom left with her daughter and never contacted me again. I am glad to see they found a Provider that this little one is happy at. An infant's care and Happiness is important.
