New Horizon Child Care - West Ustick

PLEASE READ: On the 7th of November my son and daughter in law moved to Boise, they had researched prior before moving and found this daycare on Ustick. My daughter in law first flew out and toured the other location in Meridian and liked the woman she spoke with, the facility and classrooms were small and the building needed work but overall seemed good. I came out two weeks later to tour the location on Ustick with them. Right away I didn't like the fact there were no cameras onsite anywhere, this is a standard in the daycare community, it protects you as a parent and the daycare workers. The rugs floors and restrooms were dirty and unkept. Then we meet the teacher (Margaret) who had been there for 17 years, who runs the 4 years classroom. She went on about her circle time and how serious she expected the children to take it almost militaristic like. We came back the next day to fill out paperwork, we stood outside ringing the doorbell for a half-hour, I had my face against the window to see if I could see someone to help us and watched the same teacher screaming in some little boys face, then she picks him up under his arms and flings him by the bathrooms onto the floor in front of some tri fold closet doors and then proceeds to continue to scream at the other kids.. I was shocked and told my daughter in law. After we got let in she went into the room and asked the teacher about the incident at which this lady tore into her, telling her that they are trained to pick the kids up that way, that she didn't need this crap today, asked WTH was she even doing in her classroom, screaming about how this job saved her life why would she hurt a child, and then demanded that my daughter in law leave. She walked out of the room in tears and shocked as to what had just happened. I am certain this and probably worse has happened under her care however with no cameras to keep them in check there is no proof. I am filing a complaint and contacting other parents that bring their children here, you have a right to know. DONT BRING THEM HERE #protectyourchild
