Heritage Kids Christian Academy

Worst school ever. Teachers very negligent, had several incidences where my daughter was being hit and the teachers instead of handling it told my daughter not to tell me.

My complaint is book keeping which I see several reviews saying the same. Owner claimed we missed 1 month of payments and when receipts were produced for 2 of those weeks it was those payments took the place for 3 months ago when you missed. Love the teachers but I will talk to more parents and ask if they deal with this payment issue. The book keeping is hand written like a old bookie running numbers. It’s no way the owner can keep track of all the payments with hand written notes.

As a parent and a former client, I find it troubling when an owner states, she does not care about other people's rating because they are "ONLY" opinions. And I quote! " I do not care about people's ratings, this is other people's opinions" Well if you do not care how previous clients were treated when they were in business with you, & your staffs, then there's a problem here. When I brought a certain concerns to the owner attention in regards to her business, which by the way the owner's school real business name isn't Heritage Christian Academy, its Heritage Kids Christian Academy. This establishment has no website currently working, no social Media pages, nothing. But if u Google Heritage Kids Christian Academy, you can get an idea of her business. After I brought my concerns to her in regards to the unprofessionalism of one of her front desk staff, she made it all about payment, which she believes we were disgruntled about them collecting payments. Which was incorrect. She doesn't keep books on how many week(s) a client may owe, she's expecting you, the parent to do their job. My daughter's teacher is the only reason why we kept her at Heritage Kids Christian Academy, the teacher who was there since I enrolled my daughter was another engaged teacher, which I love!! The school is well kept, very clean, but apparently the staffs she hires, I don't believe(my own opinion) all the teachers there even have a teaching certificate, and a lot of them are unprofessional and lack customer service skills, and after bringing these concerns to her attention, she makes excuses, and tries hard to discredit the client (parent) who brings her that valid information. No one is upset nor bitter about making payments even when your books isn't in order or nonexistent. The delivery, behavior, and lack of professionalism, of most staffs alone with the owner is what needs to be considered and look into, not assuming parents have problems when its time to make payments.
This school do not issue any progress reports, lesson plans, teacher conferences, nothing. If I wasn't engaged with my daughter's wonderful teacher I wouldn't know anything about my daughter's progress. This and all the other reasons to why "WE have decided to disenroll our daughter with Heritage Kids Christian Academy.

Only positive thing about this school is its cleanliness. Teacher turnover rate is horrible. There are new faces every month, no exaggeration. Every year the tuition increases, so if you start off paying one price you will continue paying that rate or more when your child moves up in classes. The owner is a horrible businesswoman. She does not keep her books well. She loses receipts and will say you didn't pay. She won't accept Your cleared checks or bank statements as proof of payments because "those can be forged". Don't let the "spiritual" name of the school fool you She is rude and talks over you, but will tell you to have a blessed day after the one sided conversation. As soon as you get used to the teachers , the owner runs them off. I saw her force one of her pregnant teachers to clean the floor on her hands and knees. She treats them badly which is why they don't stay. I would not recommend anyone use this provider.
