Apple Tree Day Care & Preschool Center

I am very happy with the care that my daughter receives at this center. Everyone is so welcoming. My wife and I visited many centers and we liked how at AppleTree has the nfants seperated from the toddlers many centers had them combined. Everytime I pick her up she is a happy baby. Thank you for giving us working parents a great piece of mind while we are at work.
Debbie and the teachers are great! My children both attend this school and they love it. I fully trust them with my children. The only problem I have is that they never want to come home. I started them with only a few days a week and currently added another day because while they were home they wanted to know when they were going to go back to school. They keep them very busy and I always have cute art work to take home. I recommend this center to anyone who is looking for a childcare.
I have had the complete opposite experience at Apple Tree. Love everything about it from the teachers, to the classrooms to the on site Owner. I have 3 children at this center and they have gone through the infant room to the toddler rooms to the preschool room and they have learned so much. My son who started as an infant now works here along with my mother and they are both very happy. Take it from a parent who has been with the center for YEARS the teachers have been their forever. We are truly happy that we found this center.
I had two children in Apple Tree over the past few years, and while the teachers are great (Miss. Marcia and Miss. Jackie/preschool teachers) the ONLY teachers that have been there for years. (So keep that in mind when reading “current teacher reviews”, that state they have worked for the center for years”, the director writes her own reviews).
The director Debbie is a Nightmare. She does not care about the children, the families, or the staff. She cares about her money, and that’s it. When you put your 30 day notice in writing that fake smile turns nasty real quick. You may not ask her any questions after the notice is in. I made that mistake! I simply asked why I was being charged for the week after the 30 day notice? She started yelling at me in front of the children, and told me if I say anything she will kick my son out today! Needless to say asking questions in her book deems you a “Behavioral problem” which on her grounds means she can keep your deposit. Clearly she needs it more than I do.
I really wish the center was owned by someone else, because it could be such a great school. The teachers put up with so much, I give them so much credit. They are great people, and don’t deserve that kind or work environment. It is sad, there are new faces every few weeks.
I have never been verbally harassed before by someone who is in childcare, especially someone who I trusted to be around my child. She had the nerve to tell me, a paying customer.. that “I am a big girl, and my problems are not hers”. Far from understanding or caring.
Please do your research before you get yourself locked in her “rules”. Trust me that smile stops at the tour.
