My son has been at TCD for over 4 years. TCD has been my daycare provider since he was 16 months old. He is now 5 years old. The teachers throughout his development were wonderful, they love children. The teacher that lead the 2-year-old group noticed my son wasn't meeting some milestones. She got me in contact with services to help my son succeed. His current teacher of the 5-year-old group has gotten him ready for Kindergarten. He knows his letters, numbers, colors, and sight words. Each week they work on themes ie the solar system, the Oceans, and the 4th of July (American’s birthday). My son comes home and tells me about what he learned that day. TCD also provided soccer to the 4 and 5-year-olds during the spring. My son loved it. There is also a science teacher that comes in and teaches science. My son liked it when she brought in some turtles. When I had concerns the teachers were always available to discuss my concerns via e-mail or in person. I did see a review saying that the director was rude and unprofessional. I haven't seen that from the director and I have been part of TCD for many years. She has always been kind to me and concerned about my son and the other children.
The teachers are caring and attentive. The director is rude and unprofessional. I've found myself upset on numerous occasions by the things that have occurred and have been looking for a new place to send my child.
