I have used this provider for more than 6 months

If I could give a one star I would. Place is appalling. Do not send your child here. Kids are never changed. My child came home with the same pull up on multiple times.

I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

I did a tour at Little Acorns Academy Two today and I am completely appalled at what I saw. While listening to one of the teachers explain the program and schedule I witnessed one of the older teachers handle a child the absolute wrong way. The little girl was crying and probably not behaving, I did not witness what she did, however I did see the teacher stand there with a scowl on her face and demand the child clean up something. She then had her sit in a chair in the center of the room and while the girl cried and tried to get up the woman pushed down on her shoulder and said "don't you move". When I asked the teacher giving the tour how they handle discipline she told me they try to redirect but that every child is different. If this is the way they are going to hand discipline in front of parents, I can not even imagine how they handle it when no parents are in the building.
I worked in a pediatric office for five years, I know very well that children are difficult. I have seen many children behave a lot worse than this child, getting physical and just plain mean is never the way to handle a child. If that woman can't handle a temper tantrum, not even a big tantrum I might add, she should not be working with children. I will be contacting DCYF about what I witnessed as no child should be treated that way by an adult, especially someone that's not even the parent.
