While my child was enrolled in this daycare (less than a year) she had a constant diaper rash and started having behavioral problems at home. They told me if she wasn’t there by 8:30am they wouldn’t feed her breakfast, even though they stopped taking kids at 9am. The girls watching her in the afternoon when we would pick her up were very young and would leave her in her diaper for the last 2 and a half hours she was there. We got a note each day saying how many times she was changed and there were multiple days that she was only change three times in a 9 hour span. My daughter would come home filthy, hungry, and emotional every day. When we brought our concerns to the director she just brushed off our concerns and she was changed more often but continued to have a rash. We took her to the doctor about 3 times for a yeast rash in the past 9 months. Also when picking her up at 6pm one day, her and the other kids that were still there were put into the high chair table with a phone propped in front of them playing YouTube (all 12-20 month old babies). We had even been locked out at 9am when I was running late and it was raining. I texted them ahead of time and let them know I was running late and they locked me out for 10 minutes on a foggy/rainy day. The director finally came to the door and said that I missed drop off time and that I would have to make other arrangements for my child even though I had to go to work. I told her I pulled up at 9:01 and that it was ridiculous since there was bad weather and things happen. She told me she would let us in but that it would be the last time. They had always been rude to me and I worried how they were treating my child because of how they treated me. Another incident we had there was when she tripped on a rug and hit her head on their concrete wall. We watched the video and saw that she did trip but when we brought up that the wall was a safety hazard and that they should put up padding in case it happened again and they said that this isn’t the first time that it has happened. They tried but padding wouldn’t stick. Even with billing they were always confused as to what we actually owed and would give us invoices with large amounts printed but crossed out in pen and wrote in what we actually due. We would get behind on a payment and they would tell me in front of everyone in the daycare to not forget that we were late. The last time we missed a payment on a Friday they texted us the following Monday that if we did not pay our balance plus the next week we would not be allowed to bring her back until it was paid. I didn’t get paid until that Friday so I couldn’t bring her back. At that point it was the last straw. Upon moving her into a new facility we saw an instant change in her. She was no longer coming home dirty and moody. She is happy every day and learning so much. Little bear did not work with her or care for her properly and especially upon moving her out of there I can see a major difference. Please don’t take your babies there.
