I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

I toured Grandma's daycare soon after having my first baby. One short visit was enough to quickly convince me that my daughter would never again come to Grandma's daycare. As she led us through the house to the living room, we walked through a very dirty kitchen. There were two giant bulldogs roaming around which made me nervous for the safety of any babies at this daycare. The whole time we were there, all of the kids were sitting in front of the TV, and we came away from our visit with the impression that the kids spend a lot of time watching TV here. It seems to be an affordable daycare, which may be the only positive.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

If you care about your child do NOT take them within 100 yards of "Grandma's Daycare"! It is the worst thing you could possibly do as a parent. My kids have been going there for 3 years (not by choice, they are step kids and their bio mom refuses to go else where.) We have had endless issues with this "daycare". For starters, there is ALWAYS about 15 kids under 6 or so in the "daycare" at one time with ONE care provider. 2) My kids always come home disgustingly dirty or with leaked through diapers ( this one irritates me, a child has to be neglected for HOURS to leak through ) 3) the daycare provider is not pleasant whatsoever, barley has more than 2 words when my kids come in other than "Sit down." They are ALWAYS sat right in front of the TV (Usually Judge Judy or some Crime Show) and told not to move, or sent to a back room that has toys in it, 4) This daycare is on a busy 5 lane road, and one day when I was picking up kids, they were outside playing and my daughter was able to run around to the back of the house and climb the 4 foot fence to me without anyone noticing until I walked into the house with her - she could've been hit and killed by a car before anyone noticed she was gone 5) the house always smells like weed or cigarette smoke 6) if you look on the states website, she has endless lists of repeat citations 7) when she went on a cruise earlier this year, she just found a handful of random people to step in and "babysit" the kids without running any sort of background check on them, when I picked up my kids the lady who was there didn't even know their names and was beyond unprofessional (How do you spend 8 hours with a child and not know their name?!) :sunglasses: I once forgot my diaper bag at home on a rushed morning, so instead of calling me and asking me to run diapers/pulls up by, or maybe using extra on hand, she let my little girl sit in the same diaper for 8 hours and of course she leaked so she just let her walk around like that (completely unacceptable) . My lists could go on and on, but if you want some where your kids will feel safe and loved, stay far away from "Grandma's Daycare".

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

My boys LOVE going to daycare! They play with the other kids and the cute Bulldogs. Barbara reminds me of my grandma and keeps them all in line! My boys are well fed and rave about all their fun with their friends. I would recommend Barbara and Mike to anyone!!

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I would never recommend this facility. My grandson was always dirty and covered in dog hair when we picked him up. Once he was picked up and his hair had been slaughtered with scissors thatnoone has access to. His last day there we picked him up with severe bruising on his hips.
