First Steps Learning Center

My child is 2 months old and I went to pick him up early one day and him and another baby was in swings beside each other. I get in front of them and they both have blankets over them to restrain their arms and burp cloths wrapped around their heads to the backs of their necks to hold their pacifiers in their mouths. I then look over and the teacher is holding her own child instead of taking care of the other kids. I called the owner the next day and reported it to her. Nothing was done to the teacher and the teacher confronted me that afternoon about saying something and said " the other babies mom said I could do that so that's why I did it to your baby" I told her she was not to do that with mine that he could have smothered and I don't force a paci in his mouth. I still was not at ease and did not feel safe with my child in her care so I msg the owner and this is what she said. "She said when she has an issue with a worker she addresses it and they move forward. If she didnt trust her employees they would not be working for her and that she thinks daycare is not for my child. I left work early that day and the owner was walking out and never even tried to talk to me. I had called another local daycare for openings and they told me they didnt have any because their facility just got 2 babies from first steps the week before. My child will never go back their and I hooe maybe one day she can realize her customers are more important than her employees.
