This daycare is completely unprofessional. The first 3 months I was overcharged. I had to complain and it was a nightmare dealing with the staff to get it corrected. Make sure you check the bill, I was lucky to catch it and I don't think this was an "accidental mistake". The building is old, run-down, and has an odd stench. For whatever reason they have you pack bottled water for your kids. I wonder if it's because they have lead pipes or something dangerous in the buildings water supply. My son complained a couple times that the staff scared him by yelling at him and grabbing him. Not recommended at all.
Love Love Love this place. My daughter has attended three "childcare Centers" and has not liked one of them up until now. She is not there to get her education as she attends elementary school, however she gets assistance with her homework, feels safe and secure and very loved. After struggling so hard to find a good after-school provider whether private or public, Continuous Care is overall the best so far. No center or provider is going to meet all of your needs and requirements along with your child's 100% consistently, but this place comes real close. They are sincere, flexible, reasonable and most importantly follow all legal requirements and guidelines set forth by New York State to a tee. Per the last and only post, I was very hesitant but I had no choice but to check them out; We interviewed extensively and toured the facility. I am so glad I gave them a chance and found them. Most importantly, my daughter loves it there!!
The place is terribly understaffed to the point where the owners have to stand in for teachers and sometimes have parents stay until they can get a teacher in. Staff doesn't use gloves to serve kids food. The teachers are too busy gossiping while outside to bother keeping an eye on the kids. There have also been incidences of abusive behavior - inappropriate yelling, pushing. Not to mention there is NO EDUCATION going on here for the kids! TERRIBLE PLACE. Please send your kid somewhere they'll flourish and get the attention they need - not here.
