I would like to first say that this daycare facility is new and clean. I was under the impression the service would reflect. I first toured and was told the next availability would be the last week of September/first week of October. I paid the registration fee (this was all back in August) because I wanted to reserve the spot. Well it’s the last week of September and I hadn’t heard back for a start date. I came in to ask because I need to give a 2 weeks (like any respected daycare requires), the director told me she would call me back on Friday with the start date. This didn’t happen. There was something wrong with their phones and I understand that happens. I ask again the following Tuesday when the start day would be (remember she was supposed to have this figured out by Friday). She still didn’t have an answer. Eventually she tells me it’s goin to have to be November/December ????. I then asked for my registration fee back because this was obviously not what I was told. She then again comes back and tells me he can start October 1st ????. So much for that 2 weeks. They would have never contacted me about a start date unless I kept reminding them. She then tells me “we are actually doing you a favor”. I would hardly consider not going back on your word a favor. I understand things happen and not everything falls through. I would have just appreciate some sort of communication. Regardless, the lack of communication, organization and going back and forth was unsettling for me to not continue with them.
