Owner response : Thank you for taking the time to check out my background, from one childcare provider to another this is imperative. Because you have taken the time to go on multiple platforms to rate me, and in this case was unable to block me but felt the need to remain anonymous, I will be happy to take the time out to respond. You are absolutely right this is disgraceful and might I add shameful, and unfortunately at a time in my life being a teen mom I did not properly balance my checking account and as you can see it caught up with me in my early adult life. By Gods grace and Mercy, thankfully (although I have an arrest record) I was not charged which is why I was able to successfully open a preschool center. I could have done like many of you and had my record expunged but I’m not one to hide ???? I own my mistakes and I learn from them and I do my best not to judge others for theirs. Although having to go through this embarrassing situation that happened decades ago for a “worthless check,” I have learned from my experience which is why I have been able to endure all that comes with open and operating a preschool business. I am proud of myself and my journey and as you know I always do my best to treat others with respect and kindness. As a member of the childcare industry yourself, you should appreciate and understand the rigorous process of background checks that the state of Florida mandates to successfully open and run a childcare center. This business isn’t easy, and instead of tearing each other down we should be lifting each other up! Owner response : Hi Jodi, Super interesting, never had a parent here by that name which explains why the information you provided in your review is not factual which is okay, let me help educate you. I have a college degree in Early Childhood Management myself Every Teacher here is certified to teach and all of us have over a decade of teaching experience; which is why our children have exceled in the current enrichment programs we offer. Our teachers are tenured, and committed to LBH Preschool. We have several enrichment programs such as Art, American Sign Language (ASL) and Explorative Gardening. We do Science Experiments, cooking projects; in addition to the thematic units that we teach throughout the year and so much more ! In regards to the (Pay) We pay our teachers according to their training, background and experience and I can certainly say the teachers who are here now are happy and I couldn’t have asked God for better teachers. We have certainly grown as a preschool and I want to thank you for taking the time to leave feedback! PS. We are still in business! Ms. Mariya
