Mrs. Ray the director is awful and on a power trip. My child had a medical concern she deemed non emergent. So she decided not to call me. I found out about it at pick up. The teacher said he had starting showing symptoms shortly after lunch. The next day I went to speak to the director and she very rudely said she would post signs all over the classroom to call me about every little thing. Then proceeds to call me an hour later to fire my family from the center. They keep kids in cribs all day so they don't have to deal with the mess. They lock the door to the classroom to keep parents out and to not see what is happening. If your kid is older you can't walk to the thier classroom, they call for them and you stay at the front of the building the whole time. They teachers may all be wonderful but this behavior and secrecy is suspicious. The menu is not accurate. With a child whom we were trying to figure out allergies possibly related to food. What was on the calendar wasn't what was feed that day per the teachers. The playgrounds are disgusting and unkempt. The state needs to shut down a director who isn't in ratio and constantly breaking the law before a child gets hurt.
I am a single mom/nurse and I have to work odd hours and shifts. My kids have been with this center for 3yrs. The teachers are great and caring and I see the results on their faces. The staff takes pride in my child's education which is very important to me.I refuse to relocate to another center, they are our extended family. I have shown up at different times to pick up my kids and the center is always clean. Myself and my fellow nurse co-workers, can not thank the staff enough for all that they do.
The staff lies to parents. They don't file incident reports according to state law. They also have an ongoing biting issue (for over a year now).
