I’ve never encountered a more unprofessional and abrasive woman than the one who runs this facility - RENEE RHODES. It only took me a short time to notice how her attitude with the children was indifferent at best, but one specific experience regarding my child told me all I needed to know about her. I spoke to a teacher about an issue with my daughter, & we resolved it - I thought. However the next time I came in, Renee decided to not only talk down to me AND threaten me with removing my child (for me speaking up about something that bothered her & had brought her to tears) but she then proceeded to tell me that they can treat the children in their care as they see fit and if I didn’t like it, we could withdraw her. They are physically and emotionally abusing and traumatizing children/toddlers/infants in this pitiful excuse for a childcare facility, and she’s been getting away with it so long that she’s comfortable in blatantly disrespecting any parent:child she chooses to without repercussions. The employees are just as culpable as her for going along with what she does - whether it be out of fear or simply being in the wrong field as well. A friend of mine, whom I later found out is her cousin, even told me to be wary of her because she is vindictive & spiteful and will mistreat a child simply for disliking their parent. I will not rest until I have this facility shut down for good, or until she resigns. No person this evil, hateful & downright incapable should have ever been given the ability to care for her own children - let alone anyone else’s. Anyone looking to report her can go through the tn.gov website or DHS - her license number is LIC0034108. The regulatory individual for her is Kristin Alexander and her provider ID is 71863. I have already made a thorough report and suggest any other concerned parents do the same. She shouldn’t be allowed to traumatize and abuse children anymore than she already has.

My daughter has a black eye that no one witnessed happen, also TWO unexplained bite marks on different dates. All Renee said was "we cant see everything, if you're unhappy here go elsewhere, do you want today to be her last day?"
