Description: Kidco Head Start/Early Head Start is a free infant/toddler and preschool program that serves families from Linn, Benton and Marion Counties. Enrollment is based on age, income and special need. The infant/toddler program serves pregnant mothers and newborns to children turning 24 months old by September 1st. The preschool program serves children who turn three or four years old on or before September 1st. Four year olds are given priority at most centers.

The staff is amazing. My son goes to the afternoon class with Teacher Stephanie and Teacher Mandy. He loves going to school. It seems he has grown and learned so much. His teachers have worked with us every step of the way making plans to better care for and educate my son. He is an only child so he had very little play time with children his age before going to school, so the transition was a bit rough at first, but he is doing great. The teachers and family advocate do home visits a few times a year to do family activities and what not. It's fun and the kiddos seem to love it also. Having their teachers come to their home to play.. how much better can life be.. oh and my son ONLY eats the soup that Teacher Jill makes and he even tells her that when we see her out and about lol.
