0 stars! The director is a crook and is not interested in supporting child development. She is suspected of child neglect and a complaint is on file with DCFS. I want others to know what happened to my child. She was put in a separate room from all the other children in isolation during nap time because she is 5 1/2 and doesn't nap, so she sings quietly to herself to occupy herself during the 2 hour nap time which was apparently disturbing the other child. The solution she came up with was putting her in a room alone isolated with the door closed and told her not to come out, and when she did come out repeatedly was told to go back in to the room and lie down after being told this repeatedly, she stopped coming out even to go the bathroom, so she has peed in her bed, laid in it because she believed she could not get out of that room. I was not notified of this arrangement. It was discovered during a family event that was there. There was no admission of guilt and no apology given to me. Please comment if you think this treatment is child neglect. No child should have to be in a room isolated from all the other children for 2 hours and be told repeatedly not to come out let alone a fully functioning 5 1/2 year old.
