I have used this provider for more than 6 months

We enrolled our child in a Montessori school because we liked the educational approach. We were also excited over the possibility that our child would learn a bit of Spanish and Chinese. We ended up pulling our child out of Global Montessori due to Sahar.

Our child was in a class size with a 10:1 student teacher ratio, the highest in Massachusetts for preschool education. At some point during the year, our child was bullied by another child in the class and became physically hurt. When we brought this to the attention of Sahar, she denied it and refused to generate an incident report, even when requested multiple times.

Earlier in the year when my child was adjusting to the Montessori approach, Sahar told me during pick-up that, "the teachers cannot yell, but as the mother, I have the right to yell at my child."

Sahar also told us that the teachers next year were "freaking out" over the possibility of teaching our child next year. She told us that if we wanted to attend the school the following year, our child could only be a half-day kid.

In another conversation, Sahar told my husband and I that there is something physiologically wrong with our child. She insisted that we get our child tested for services through our local public school. She even went so far to say that if the professionals were to not find anything wrong with our child, "she would insist" the contrary.

When we enrolled our child at GMS, we were led to believe that we could come by the school and see our child in class frequently. This was far from the truth. When asked multiple times to come to the school and visit, we received the run-around each time. We wanted to understand why our child hated GMS so much. As it turned out, parents were not invited to view the classrooms until there were only two months left of the school year. At that point, we were done with Sahar and done with GMS.
