Your review is based on contractual issues. As stated in my Daycare Handbook, I may take 5 personal days off per year. You read and signed a contract agreeing to and acknowledging my policies.
If your only complaint is that you think I'm unreliable, I'll take it, even though your claims are unfounded. I provide a loving and caring environment for all of my kiddos, and that's all that matters. When I have a parent that is non compliant with my polices, I have no choice but to terminate their contract, especially when the polices pertain to the health and safety of the other children in my care...NO EXCEPTIONS! I have to follow the State of Maryland Daycare Regulations. This includes excluding a child that exhibits signs of illness, as outlined by the state. Your review is really unfair, because it is based on your anger with me for complying with State Regulations.
I hope that anyone reading this review will read between the lines.

Valerie is unreliable and difficult. During the year and a half that we used her as a day care provider she called out multiple times for being sick leaving us to take a day off from work for not be able to provide service. She also called multiple times to pick up our child early for unfounded reasons. We decided to go elsewhere after she denied service and demanded a doctor’s note to return when the doctor verified that our child was not sick and kept the payment for the day. She also tried to call out early while we were at the hospital during a family emergency. Needless to say, you are better off going somewhere else.
