Eastside Preschool, The

The teachers and facility are great for the most part. The director however is somewhat unfit for the position. She is poor at active listening and can be quite invalidating. Love your teachers, but if you ever have to talk to Barbara for anything, take it with a grain of salt. I have heard multiple parents say they have also had bad experiences with her. At one point I asked to talk to the owner because of how poorly some things were being handled but was denied. I got the feeling that the director did not have my child's best interest in mind, but was more concerned about shooing us out of her office. It's a business. Like many businesses, money comes first.

If you have a child who behaves well, this is a great place. If you have a child who has any issues (even appropriate for their age), be prepared to feel invalidated and not listened to. Without prior warning or discussion, be prepared that your child may even be "disenrolled."
