We would give a million stars if we could. This school is not only the best around (we have 6 children and have tried four local schools that are stuffy, rude and not fun at all for our four yr. old son and twin two yr old daughters).
The director her staff are down to earth, warm, & truly care.
We were at one in La Costa (nice building, bad staff), one in a strip-mall that was to scary as the cars drove fast and the staff changed weekly,
Our children want to go to school and don't want to come home. Hope they have room for you.
My husband, daughter, son and mom toured over 11 schools last week Solana beach, Carlsbad and Encinitas were our goals. Well, let me tell you they have so many choices and I was very confused until we came to Encinitas Shining Star's. LOVE IT!!!! The Director was so warm, took her time and even hugged all of us as I was shaking and crying. Hard to leave a 17 month old and 3 yr old all day. I have to go back to school. We all stayed about 1 hr and both classes and teachers were so loving and sweet to us. My children started the next day and my son has already begun Gym Bus, Science classes and making friends. This school and Miss Sherri, Kathy and Kikue have made me a happy mom. My son is so excited to return tomorrow.
BY FAR THE BEST SCHOOL IN THE AREA!!!! We have tried three other pre-schools and although some of the grounds or buildings were beautiful, they lacked the care and love that ESS. has. The school is new, only a year old. The staff receives an A+. They have trips, infant and toddler care.I have a 6 month old and a 3 yr. old that attends. You will not be sorry and any child would love it!!!
Truly excellent preschool. My kid loves it there. There are so many activities and field trips to places around San Diego that I know when I leave him, he is happier than he would be to stay home while I work in my home office. The director is warm and welcoming as is the staff. I can't say enough about the school. It is more like a second family to my child than a school environment.
