Worst experience ever. They are extremely unprofessional and rude. More than that, this is a money hungry, heartless business. A child care facility should be loving, helpful and friendly. An extension of your home as one would hope from the name. Beware - Home Away From Home is anything but that! I would never recommend any of the locations to anyone. The director, owner and office staff will make your experience a nightmare.

I am an employee

From an EMPLOYEES perspective!!!!
As a "former" employee I can truly say this is an amazing school, down to the cleanliness, the staff, and leadership. This isn't just a daycare. It's a school that teaches even the infants. The owner is fully engaged in all the locations. Emily, the director of the wellington location, is on top of staff to ensure the BEST functionality. The administration team is so perky and welcoming which is only a reflection of the teachers who are caring and warm. If you want the absolute BEST for your child, then this school is for you.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Both of my daughters have attended Village Commons and are now at Wellington. Coming from having them with a stay at home nanny this is literally the next best thing. After working in the education field for 10 years, I know how important it is to give my daughters the best start in their education careers. HAFH is by far the best school in Palm Beach County not only because of the cameras, not only because they are clean, not only because of the warm and welcoming staff and teachers, but because they have educated my daughters further than I could have ever imagined. They are setting the bar for their future for their love of learning and giving them social skills they will build on for years to come. For that I am forever grateful and would recommend them for years to come!

This day care was a total waste of my money. My daughter was only there for a short time before I started to noticed the short comings of this place. The owner follows county guide lines which means each class room if at full capacity. For instance, 20 kids to one teacher! The teachers are good and do what they can but that is it, so much like a public school but its not. What made me take my daughter out was a comment made when I brought up the issue of kids yelling and poking each other. I was told that it was part of the curriculum " conflict resolution". Please don't think the cameras make a difference, on the last day as I was leaving I witnessed one of the teachers from another class yelling at a little girl veryloudly because she stepped out of line. When she saw me her tone of voice completely changed and all the little girl could do was bite her little fingers. I was horrified! This was the Wellington location, I was warned by another daycare owner that this place had issues. The owner just has too much on her plate with five different locations to actually deliver quality care. Please don't enroll your children there.
