Kamaaina Kids St. Timothy's Academy Preschool Program

I have been lucky that St. T's had an infant opening before I started work. My daughter is breastfed 6 months old. I was very adamant about sending her at a young age to this place, but we parents need to get income somehow.

Director Noe, has always been communicative and transparent with me. In the 2nd week of my daughter being there; the caregivers tell me what she likes & doesn't like, which bottles she'd rather drink from. They also call me during the day cause I have made it clear I'm worried about her being, just as any parent would.

So far my daughter hasn't showed any signs of anything out of the ordinary yet. They also are helping her transition into bottles, I'm so thankful!

I have the HiMama app, which allows the caregivers to keep me updated throughout the day of my daughter's stay there. So far I love it, workers care about the toddler kids and make sure the kids are having a good time, playing nice together.

If possible I would rate it 1 star. My daughter was there for almost 6 months. She enjoyed going there till she transitioned into the toddler class. She gradually showed signs of withdrawing, getting anxious, angry and difficult, and finally terror when I'd drop her off. Within 2 weeks of starting I pulled her out because NO ONE could give me a good explanation of her behavior change and my gut instinct told me SOMEONE was treating her wrong when she was there. No one would come forward. At least the new director at the time let me out of my monthly obligation and only paid for the time she was there. I didn't want to pursue it any further as there are good employees there, but not good enough if they weren't willing to stick up for the children when something wrong was going on. Maybe that person is no longer there, but I just wanted parents who are thinking of sending their children here to be wary. The director at first thought it was my daughter that was having problems, but she transitioned WELL into another extremely costly BUT SAFE and educational program. My daughter and I are now EXTREMELY HAPPY where she is now.
