I worked there for a few days and then decided to quit. Why? There were so much emoty space int he classroom and nothing for the children to really do. They stayed outside for the majority of the day, excluding naps, and then back outside they went. The food was hot dogs and chips, really? that is not a healthy meal for the children to be eatting. The children were bored, and needing attention. When you tried to bring out acitivities or get materials from the teacher lounge, you'd be told they were for use, I guess it was their was to prove to licensing that they ahd a quality center. Oh yes and on serval occassion, mind you i was there a total of about 12 days, I saw 3 teachers dying their hair in the classroom while the children were napping. I would never, to this day, recommend that place for anyones child. Please research it, visit licensing's websites to make sure no occurances have happened and by all means, ask a thousand questions!

About the Provider
Kinderwood Children's Center was established to serve the families in the community in 1980. We recognized the need for working parents to be assured their most prized possessions, their children, are taken care of in the cleanest, safest, most pleasant atmosphere possible. Kinderwood realizes the importance of balanced growth and is dedicated to providing for the social, mental, and physical development of your child. We provide an educational experience in a warm and friendly environment for youngsters SIX WEEKS to FIVE YEARS of age. Our service has grown from a sincere love for children and a deep desire to help your child associate with other children and cope in a modern world. We are open to all children, regardless of race, creed or national origin.
