A Solid Foundation

I am disappointed with how my nephew was treated at this facility. His slot was given away while he was out sick and falsely accused of bringing a virus to the daycare. There seems to be an issue with transparency and accountability with the daycare owner.

A Solid Foundation is very disgusting. There have been roach sightings in the building. The owner is very rude to parents. I frequently hear her gossiping in the lobby area about parent's personal business pertaining to their lives, relationships, and financial situations. She is in need of professional development and etiquette classes. Kids of different ages Some of the classrooms have kids of all different ages in it at certain times which is very unsafe considering how big some of these children are compared to the younger ones. They frequently misplace children's clothing and shoes. They send kids home with the wrong items all the time. This establishment is just really bad and I wouldn't advise anyone to go there. I only gave it one star because I had to to place the review.

This place doesn't even deserve one star. I feel bad for the children that are forced to be here. I hope their parents read this and understand that their kids are not safe here. The food they give the kids is not healthy. The way they talk to the kids is not professional. And my kid has come home with bruises.

I wish I could give this place -1 star. Worst daycare ever. The director is so unprofessional and ghetto and yet calls her staff ghetto. She was comfortable enough to tell me when she was writing up her staff, when she would pull them in the office, how trashy they were, described some of them as fat, and even talks trash about parents to staff and vice versa. She will blow up your texts with all types of notifications and get offended if you ask about your child's well being. If youre looking into a daycare, look elsewhere. She is charging extra fees because, from her mouth,"she cant afford her bills at the daycare". I have screenshots of text messages where shes harassing me even after I tell her ill speak to her in person. I can message them to anyone who needs proof. Her professionalism stems all the way down to her being married but having her boyfriend work at the daycare im guessing as some type of security...be aware. She does things against DCFS standard like having all of the children, newborns, to school age children, all in the same room together...very dangerous....and on top of that staff doesnt properly watch the children they are either in the kitchen eating, walking around when shes not there, or on the cell phone talking and texting. Ive even caught one using a tablet. The list could go on and on. Shes very defensive. If you dont believe me talk to her for just 10 minutes and see how many times she will use the "B" word against other people while in conversation with you...Half of her staff is not licenced to work in a child care setting.
