It is very important to us to make sure that you know that we care and appreciate the opportunity to care and educate your children. We want to know every child, every family and all the little milestones in between. To not just get to know one or two of our children and their parents but to connect to dozens. To be able to convey sometimes a week of learning into a five-minute conversation.  It takes a teacher who knows how to set boundaries and enforce them consistently to succeed in a classroom. To enable children that can take direction as they are learning to explore.  In early childhood education what your child learns in the stage sets them up or knocks them down in their future learning. Our goal and highest achievements are to take your children into our care and give them back to you upon graduation not only with the skills necessary to succeed in school but with independence and confidence. We want our children to be challenged to complete a task that they can eventually do all on their own. To provide a rich environment where your child will feel safe to explore, initiate learning and feel free to express themselves. 

Our wonderful staff and I are very excited about being part of your child’s educational future. We look forward to working with all the parents and families on establishing positive relationships. Respect, knowledge and trust are crucial parts of this relationship. Making sure families, caregivers and teachers are all on the same page will avoid any communication issues and everyone benefits – especially the children. We want to enable our children to head off to school with positive skill that will allow them an easier time transitioning into future classrooms. Here at Toledo First Childcare our staff have a combined 85+ years of childcare experience. We feel it is our obligation to continue to serve our community to the best of our ability. We also feel it is our obligation to provide a happy and safe environment in which each child is accepted as a unique person with unlimited possibilities for growth socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically and most importantly, spiritually. This growth is encouraged not only by daily planned small and large group activities, but even more so by the smile they receive when they enter our doors. Our goal as a staff is to help your child grow to his/her potential as well as have the best time of their young lives.We believe that by providing relevant teaching about the Bible along with transformational worship and community, people will find meaning and inspiration for life.
