I have used this provider for more than 6 months

It's a brand new school in a charming facility that was once a home. You have to check it out but when you meet the director and see what is going on you will be so impressed. My child has learned so much both socially and educationally. The teachers really know how to educate both the child and the parents.

About the Provider

we are committed to honoring the early years in a child's life. We recognize how crucial these years are to later learning. We believe that each child should experience an environment that promotes independent thinking, problem solving, and self-esteem. Our goal is to provide a warm, safe, loving atmosphere where children can thrive. A child's interest ignites when he or she is provided with ideas that extend thinking, developing the desire to explore and foster creative outlets. We incorporate these interests into curriculum that becomes part of our emergent way of learning. The role of our teachers is to help foster development in problem solving, socialization, curiosity, critical thinking, and self-help skills. Most importantly, our curriculum is designed to allow self-discovery and a strengthening of each child's unique individuality. Within our safe environment, children are allowed to challenge their skills at a pace that is comfortable and successful. Our community is interwoven with many activities that promote parent participation. This allows our families to be active participants in their children's school life. Our school accommodates 2 year-old to 5 year-old children. The younger children do not need to be potty trained. We work with you in this process when the child shows signs of readiness. Westwood Hills Preschool is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian institution that does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, or gender.
