Stepping Stones Preschool

If you have a toddler it is not recommended you go to this child care center. The administrator does not believe in a curriculum or helping the toddlers expand their minds at such a critical age. They do not provide lunch and expect the parents to pack cold lunches only to find out they do not even provide a fridge to keep the lunches cold. Ms Torres in the toddler 1 room is not a teacher and is very lazy. She even wore artificial nails that were pointy and sharp for Halloween... Not very smart working with toddlers. I asked on the last day for all my toddlers arts and crafts or pictures and unfortunately none provided because guess what she does not do anything with them. The teacher in the next room is much better and attentive to the children. My toddler was there not even a month starting out and I had over 9 incident reports on kids bitting my boy and many incidents reports of bumps and abrasions. This is crazy. They have a sign out front with a X through a three star rating and drew a four in its place. No way!!! I rate a 1. I say clean facility but as a child care center failure and the administrator needs to get updated and educated on child development. They really need to see what daycares around them are doing because they are not up to par compared to other daycares.

We are new to the Madison area. I have to say, I am really happy with steppingstones. Everyone is super friendly, and they all really do enjoy being around the kids. They have field trips every week, and are always doing something fun. They are really big on nutrition which is a huge plus for my family. They always keep me updated on my daughter. We came from a mentor daycare, and stepping stones is a much cleaner and organized center.
