World Of Love Learning Center

Church of the Cross operates an outreach childcare program called World of Love Learning and Infant Care Center that was first established in 1967 as a pre-school program and currently serves approximately 120 children (infants through fourth graders) in an educational-based childcare center. In this loving, caring environment children experience hands-on activities which help to develop and enhance their creativity. They are challenged to seek and explore answers through natural curiosity and self expression. We believe it is important to give the children entrusted in our care the precious gift of love and the knowledge of being loved. It is our intent to provide individual attention through low child/teacher ratios. These low ratios allow children to develop at their own pace, aiding them as they develop a sense of value, self respect, and independence. Special aspects of our program include: a weekly chapel program with the pastor, participation in the federal food program, field trips and special events to enhance our weekly educational themes. We operate weekly, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 6:30 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. Our fully trained staff provide a variety of experiences based on their own educations and backgrounds and meet all standards set forth by the State of Ohio licensing laws.
