ABC Discovery Preschool/Daycare

The owner uses several ozone machines to cover the smell of her multiple dogs. The ozone is way too strong. The owner is very rude and not at all flexable. She also covered the babies cribs with blankets during nap time because they sleep better if they can't see each other.

I was an employee over 5 years ago and have kept my eye on this daycare ever since I was hired in due to the lack of professionalism and treatment of employees and children. I even warned a parent about their specific child and things I would be concerned about if I were the parent seeing the things go on in this daycare. I was young, not sure even old enough to work for this provider, but had many questions about how the owner was running this daycare, while trying to open another one to try and have me run at barely 18 years old, and while having sometimes 9 GROWN dogs in this home, and when/if there were too many children for what she was allowed to have, her response in handling that kind of situation was absurd, and I quickly left that job. In my opinion, this facility needs to be watched very carefully and regularly, if not just shut down. As someone else said, there are TONS more BETTER providers out there for your children.

This is the most poorly run daycare i have worked at. With a legal limit of 16 kids, we had 2 teachers responsible for up to 21 kids during the summer which is ove both legal student to teacher ratios and the allowance for the daycare. The owner requires empolees to spend time doing tasks for her other businesses leaving the kids under or unattended. Children of all ages, from 0-11 are expected to participate in the same activities day in and day out. There is no separation amongst age, all kids are in the same room all day. I witnessed a baby crawling into the bathroom and eating poopy toilet paper as well as a child busting his lip open because no one was given time to pay attention to the kids. Teachers were made to refuse the kids water other than snacks, lunch time, and during parent pick up so no extra dishes would be dirtied. This means for up to 2 or 3 hours in 90 degree temperatures kids would be refused water. I would never send my own child here.

I found the daycare to be unkept, full of dog hair, untrained employees and the owner is very disrepectul. I've witnessed her screaming at the kids in which I removed my child. There are much safer, caring places for your child to go.

This daycare is poorly ran. The owner is very Rude. There are much better childcare facilities available out there.
