Kid's Cove Daycare & Learning Center, LLC

I really can’t comprehend why this daycare has such a low rating. My toddler has been coming here for almost 8 months now (I’m a pretty over-protective, helicopter Mom) and I can’t say great enough things about the facility. Any concerns / fears / requests I’ve made has been diligently taken care of. I love the real-time updates I get throughout the day on my little one. There have been staffing changes due to Covid-19 but I really think they have a solid team there now. I know my boy is loved when he is with them and I appreciate it so very much. The owner and office manager have really gave me peace of mind when I needed to talk about some fears all parents have and gave me an open and welcoming environment for any feedback. They are transparent with me and take good care of my little one. We will be moving further soon and as of now, plan to still keep him at Kid’s Cove because of how well we feel he is cared for.

I'm happy my kids will NOT be going here. The owner is a cheater and dishonest. I came there looking for a place for my 2 children. I was told in order to hold the spot (for the following month) they would need a registration fee and the first week of tuition. Well, there has been a change of plans and I informed them the very next day my kids would not be able to attend. 2 days later, I was called. The director had one of the staff pass a message to me that none of my $ would be refunded. $440. That is complete BS. How do you keep tuition from 3 weeks in advance for children who will not be attending. BTW, their withdrawal policy states they need a 2 week notice. The rest of the staff seemed so nice and I'm very shocked to see how much of a cheat the owner is.

This is a dangerous daycare. Children left alone, twice encountered 4 month old face down asleep on boppie, 20 month old on changing table with no adult in room, employees on cell phones instead of taking care of children, disorganized, dark, dirty. Finally, we waited on an opening at another facility, and by the Grace of God, got children out of this facility. This business is breaking multiple violations, and children are in danger. I am surprised a fatality has not occured.

No cameras. Have encountered several questionable issues.

Children left alone in rooms for more than several minutes (Under 2 yrs old), child left on changing table unsupervised with adult in another room, chemicals on top of changing table in reach of child, unexplainable injuries to child.

Anything can happen. These incidents could have turned into fatalities.

I believe they have not installed cameras because they cannot guarantee the parents will see a positive situation.

You only offer a camera environment when you are doing the right thing.
