I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Everything was ok for the first few weeks. But The owner Mrs jones is one of the most aggressive people that I've ever met. (This is towards the parents, I can't say towards the children). Her tone is consistently harsh and loud, which makes for terrible customer service. If I could have taken my daughter else where as soon as I noticed that I would have. My daughter has had a diaper rash one time(she is almost 2) and shortly after she started at I care, she started to develop the worst diaper rash, it was so bad that she would scream when I would change her, I could hardly give her a bath properly because she was so uncomfortable. Another thing that truly bothered me,and offended me deeply was that it was so clear that my family, including my daughter were being treated different, being discriminated against because we were one of the lower income families. When in reality, a child is a child and they should all be treated equally. Every other day it seem to always be one thing or another. It almost seems as if they would make things difficult just to give me a hard time. This place has completely changed over the years, and it's not for the better. This is one of the cheaper places in the area, and it's always true...you get what you pay for. Before my salary dropped i was paying almost twice as much when my daughter was in a private daycare facility. I remember second guessing myself asking was this smart to pay this amout of money, and I now I know that I was doing the right thing. My family and I were treated 3 times better. It's unfortunate, especially when it comes to our children, but the reality is...Money talks. I wouldn't recommend this facility. Poor people skills, poor management, and you won't be treated equally or fairly.

About the Provider

The greatest evil that can befall man is that he should come to think ill of himself.

Next to providing a bright, safe place in which your child (s) physical well-being is cared for , the important part of our job is to create an environment of unconditional love and support, so that the children may fully participate in the many learning possibilities we provide and may develop independence and confidence in themselves.

This special context is established through consistent positive and respectful interaction with the children by all our staff. If you ask one of our staff, what their job is at our center, the reply should be “My job is to create learning possibilities in a context of positive and unconditional Love, Support, and Respect for the children.

The reason we devote such an emphasis on the environment we create for the children at I Care is that it has been well established by psychologists and other social scientists that a child’s self worth, self-respect, and self-image are established very early in life, primarily through interaction with family, teachers and others who take care of them. We think, what we do and how we do it is very important.
