I have used this provider for more than 6 months

The teachers plans are good and the schedules are well put together, but I frown upon the way parents are treated when they approach the director about a concern with their child.
I have spoken to a couple of parents (thinking I was the only one, and sadly/happily I'm not) about how our feelings about our children's behaviors are just tossed aside just because we don't have degrees in childhood education or any knowledge in development.
For example, my son bit himself (which is EXTREMELY out of character for him) and then when I asked him why he said it was because he was confused. I asked why he was confused, he said he didn't know. So when we got home and out of the car, we sat and talked about it. He said that his friend's (a classmate) parents said that about his friend; then he said they said it to him; finally he said he heard them talking to his teacher about that classmate.
I approached the director about it, mainly to have her ask her teachers to be aware of what they say in front of the students. She looked at me and disregarded what I said, she told me, "That's impossible. We had that conversation in this office, he wasn't around for that." As if there was no possible way that it was spoken about before that meeting.
This, for me, was the last straw of having my worries for my child pushed aside. I may be just ANOTHER worried Parent coming into your office complaining ms. director, but that is MY child that was behaving unlike himself.
The kids play outside twice a day, which is great for them, except i get very frustrated, and I have brought this up, and once again, have had this ignored, kids run around outside, and no matter if it's sunny or cloudy, WATER SHOULD BE AVAILABLE. I've picked my son up early numerous times and have had his water inside, along with other kids, and as soon as I have him inside, he's chugging water...
And then there's their policy of how any unknown adults who pick up children, are suppose to be ID'd, even if the children know them, and the child's paperwork is suppose to be checked to make sure that that adult can pick that child up. My mother in law went to pick up my son, there were (once again) new teachers in my sons current classroom, and she didn't recognize any of them, an they had never met her; and no one ID'd her. What if she were someone my son knew but was not suppose to go with? This was something brought up NUMEROUS times to the director.
My son had been attending TYLC for about 3 years, and we've watched teachers come and go. The teachers at TYLC have been great.
Ms. Amy, Ms. Kate, and Ms. Amanda and my son's favorite teachers. They're all I hear about honestly. I had even pulled my son from this daycare.
