Open Valley At Pembroke Pines

My son has been attending this facility for VPK for 5 months now. While I have to say that the staff is very caring and friendly I am very disappointed with the fact that they raised the tuition to nearly double without any notice. Had I known that they would do this I would have never enrolled my child there. It's not right to raise the tuition halfway through the school year. If they want to apply new rates it should be for the next school year because now I have to remove my child because I could no longer afford it. I tried speaking to the director about it and she will not even return messages. No where in the enrollment package does it say that rates are subject to change at any time. Needless to say more parents be aware of this practice if you decide to go to Open Valley

My son has been in the school from 4 months to 5 years. Every class and every teacher was amazing, caring and loving towards my son. My son was extremely comfortable in the environment and the teachers go out of there way to ensure the children are happy. I recommend this school to everyone I know. Open valley prepared my son exceptionally well for kindergarten as I was amazed at how well them prepared him in comparison to the "A" school the he attends now. To all the moms and dads like me who worry about our children extensively believe me when I tell you your children are in good hands at open valley.

Open Valley exceeds my expectations for a Great VPK program for my son. He has learned so much this school year from his fabulous teachers Ms. Millie and Ms. Kathy. They work so well together and really have made a difference in my child's first year experience at school. My son never wants to leave! They make every moment memorable for the children and for the parents. They taught my older son 2 years ago and will be teaching my third child in 1 year when he enters VPK. I am a teacher myself in an Elementary school, I know what good teachers are like and I know when the school is run with so much care. Open Valley is my school of choice that provides everything for my sons. Thank you for all of your hard work and commitment to the children and parents. Thank you for all that you do for our children!

I have two kids attending Open Valley.
They have been in three differences daycare, and I i did not see so much dedication and care on the teachers and director like i see here. The communication is great, you get a paper with you kid backpack, the information it is also place on every classroom door, and by the computer where you sign in and out your kids, plus the teachers make sure to talk to you about any upcoming event or class activities.
My 5 year old is eager to participate in all the activities( which are all well plan, creative, and bring kids are parent together). He have a great appreciation and respect for his teacher, always wants to share what he had learn during day and talks about it with entusiasmo. My 2 Years old never want to leave when I got to pick her up ( at first it was hard for me, but i know she is happy and having a good time, she feels good there). I could not be happier and worry free that my kids are in a safe, with dedicated professional that truly offer the best of them for the well being of kids.

I was referred to Open Valley by my teacher’s eldest son who attends Chapel Trail Elementary. She told me that kids coming from this school were among the best prepared for kindergarten. I liked the center and after a year I can tell we couldn't be happier. Teaching is good and my kids are happy. We really love the place.

It is so sad to read bad reviews about such an amazing daycare. My son has been attending open valley since he was 6 months old. Unfortunately for my family he had to start attending daycare very early due to our jobs, but thats beyond the point. He is now about to turn 4 years old and is still attending what I have to say is the best daycare in town. I have no complains at all. If anything I am only thankful for all the great care provided, for all they've taught him and all the love from everyone from the receptionist to the director. The communication between the director and parents is extremely amazing there are always flyers and notes and even pictures with all that is going on in the daycare inside my son's lunchbox when he gets home. The creativity of the staff is beyond unique and entertaining for the kids. I love Open Valley and so does my son and speaking with other parents it seems like a very consistent feeling.

My daughter went there for the school year 2012-2013, we both had a tough year there; here are some of my complains. when the school registered my daughter for pk-4 she put in the late afternoon where there aren't no teachers but instead someone to watch them from the playground waiting for the parents to pick them up, when I notice that I requested it for an schedule change and finally she started in the morning when the regular classes takes place. My other complaning is a late fee of $50 for being late 30 minutes and a $65 dollars charge for the graduation ceremony that I was given the gown wrong size and I had to pay to fix it because they couldn't change it, and the communication between parents and teachers sucks to the point that my daughter went there during holiday time season dressed with her uniform and the other kids wearing pretty clothing. The director and receptionist are a complete joke. I do not recommend this school at all.
