I am an employee

Mother's Little Helper has a great educational program for all the children. I love the personalized attention the children get from their teachers. Sometimes it seams as though the teachers get more love and attention from the children then from their own parents. They are always happy and they love coming to "school".

About the Provider

Mother's Little Helper Educational Childcare Center, Inc. is a privately owned and licensed center since 1989. We are centrally located in Stamford, convenient to mass transit system along a main bus route, within walking distance to downtown, and easy access to major highways.

We have pride ourselves in providing the best nursery care for infants and toddlers, and are known for providing a top level educational service for preschoolers. We are open year round and our hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We provide both full time and part time care. Parents get to design their schedules to fit their need.

We have been in business for over a quarter of a century. Preschool children who have spent at least two years in our program prior to attending regular school leave well prepared for primary school, and most are reading at various levels, i.e. recognizing words, spot reading, and fluent readers.

Before it became a State mandate or fashionable, our goals were to prepare our children for school in a worry-free environment. We are caring for all the children needs while parents are working

Children strive and progress better when they are kept in smaller groups. Our infants and toddlers (all under three) are grouped in three classes of eight. In each group of eight, there are two teachers according to the State mandate ratio of teacher to every four infants/toddlers. Our preschoolers are grouped according to State guidelines of one teacher perten children.

Our goal is to provide a loving, caring, enjoyable and stimulant structured environment as they are enhancing their educational skills.
