The Sunshine Preschool

We started Sunshine in July of 2017 and lasted until April of 2018. In that time we saw a drastic downhill progression of the business and care. There was a high teacher turnover rate which lead to insufficient care and education. When concerns were expressed, we were told things would be corrected and they never were. When addressed again we were given excuses and asked to be patient with the new staff. We then asked to start recieving a bodily functions slip on our child and the daycare could not produce them on a daily basis because the director stated, "I didn't have time to print them today." In this time frame, checks were held for weeks, sometimes up to 2 months. We felt it was time to remove our child from the facility and out of courtesy gave a 2 weeks notice only to be asked to call the new daycare and make the end of the week his last day. We would have gladly stayed had there been an investment in the staffing, that would ultimately lead to better care and education. Preschools are parents investments in their children and when business don't address concerns or meet needs they lose business. The most disappointing part is that our child had to suffer due to poor business management.

I have 2 children in Sunshine. A warm loving, God centered daycare. I lost my job and they worked with me until I got back on my feet. Can't tell you how much that meant to me. My children have grown, learned and are very happy.
