Westside Preschool

This school is all about money. They even sent home a fundraiser the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!! I am a single mother, and I had an issue with the Manager, and the pastor and preschool did nothing to help me solve this problem. They charge by the MINUTE if you are late picking up your children!!! Please, do not use this preschool.

I have three children and my first two went to other preschools. But our third child has been at Westside for the past two years and received an absolutely wonderful education in a caring and nurturing environment. This is the best preschool of all of the preschools we have used. I wish our first two had had the opportunity to go here. The MOST IMPORTANT thing you need to know about this school is that the staff truly, truly LOVES the little children. This is not a job for them, it is a calling. I have looked into all of the programs in Santa Paula and this is the BEST in terms of academics, social development, and true dedication by the staff. Westside feels like you're taking your child to grandma's house. Thanks to Westside, my four year old is now starting to read and knows all of her letters and numbers through 100, how to write her full name, in addition to the wonderful social skills she has developed. When she started at Westside she was terribly shy, but the school did a great job of helping her to come out of her shell and when she "graduated" last month she spoke on stage in front of everyone about her future career goals. It truly is a special place. Just go visit and you will see.

Heard many wonderfull things about this school. But Manager is RUDE called to inquire about my child being in the waiting list instead MANAGER did not answer my question and before I was done asking her my question she hung up on me.  I'm very DISAPPOINTED how she treated me. Since I work for Head Start programs myself and I would never talk to a parent the way this person did to me.
