Solid Rock Preschool and Early Learning Center

If I could I would give this location a ZERO star!! Staff is EXTREMELY RUDE and would NEVER leave my children with them! I spoke with a lady who sounded "Asian" and was asking her about the center to see if my kids would be attending since we're new to Baytown. I asked normally how many kids do they have (I just wanted to make sure if I should wait or enroll them now so they won't lose a spot), she replied with a very sarcastic reply "I don't know, I'm not God!". I replied "Nevermind, with your attitude I would NOT want you watching my kids!!"
Please do your research before sending your kids here!!

Am disgusted with this facility. They rewarded one of the caregivers by promoting her to basically manage the daycare. I guess being a rude and careless pays off. Was told this woman who is running the show is the owners right hand and confidant by another employee, oh how blind the owner is. If you go in for a tour they will make you feel very welcome but they are hipocrites and do not care about your childs well being. I have seen crying children, with soaking wet puffy diapers and other parents have told me their infant got sick cause they didnt clean bottles and gave him wrong formula. I rememeber one time i took my son 10 min before breakfast ended and was told he would eat , but instead of being taken to the kitchen he awas taken to the classroom. All these employees are friends and will lie to the families to their face. They will cover up for one another. Do what you want parents . Just letting you know

Very Happy with Solid Rock Childcare Services. Been with them for going on 6 years. My children love the staff and their every day activities. The daycare is super clean and always smells fresh. My children learn so much and the older one is doing great in public school because of the solid academic foundation. They love going to daycare in the morning and hate to leave in the evening because of affectionate and caring staff. Thank you Solid Rock for providing an awesome safe and learning place for my children.Wouldn't switch daycares ever. Got my money worth. Director and staff are welcoming and accommodating with parents.
DO NOT AGREE WITH THE PREVIOU ANGRY PARENTS WITH LOW RATING. I will recommend this great, safe learning environment.

I used this center for less than seven weeks and had the worst experience of my life. This place is a walking disease. My kids would constantly get sick to the point of being hospitalized. Staff don't wash kids hands before eating or using restroom. Staff don't disinfect anything to prevent infections from spreading. Disgusting. Don't say I didn't warn you. Look at the texas department of child services so you can see some of the few reported incidents. Im not posting this out of anger, I just dont want other children to go through unnecessary pain and hospital stays. This is my personal opinion and experience.

MY MOTHER WENT TO PICK UP MY SON AND WAS NOT ASKED TO SHOW HER ID. BOTTOM LINE. IT WAS WRONG. NOT POLICY ANYWHERE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. THE DIRECTOR ONLY SENT AN APOLOGY THROUGH AN EMPLOYEE. THE EMPLOYEE SAID IT WAS MY MOTHERS FAULT DUE TO HER NOT RINGING THE DOOR BELL SINCE SHE WAS GIVEN THE CODE. WHAT IF A SEX OFFENDER KNEW THE CODE? WHY ARE THEY NOT TAKING ANY RESPONSIBILITY? WHY DIDN'T THE DIRECTOR CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW THEY MADE A MISTAKE? I DON'T SEE HOW IT WAS MY MOTHER, A RETIRED WOMAN NEW TO THE AREA, WAS AT FAULT. SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE FIRED FOR THIS! This is very safe and clean daycare happy to send my child here affordable price and superior care couldn't ask for more.
