Christian Childcare Center

After reading the poor comment here, I felt I needed to share our experience. We have 2 children who have been attending CCC for nearly 2 years now. By and large, my kids love "school" as they call it and have developed a great relationship with their teachers. My daughter is almost reading and is way ahead of the curve in writing according to the speech pathologist she met at MES. I'm embarrassed to say it, but that's not from working with us at home. Ms. Mira does a good job rotating the teachers as she's allowed and cooks the kids REAL food, not just chicken nuggets and pizza. Do my kids come home hungry some days because they were too picky to eat? Yes. Have my kids come home liking new foods like chicken salad and beans? You bet. Regarding the water situation, we did notice our kids coming home thirsty for a few weeks, but after a calm discussion with the teachers, they've been doing much better. KY state regulations on daycare centers are extremely over-bearing and right/wrong/indifferent, Ms. Mira follows the rules. I'd trust these people with my kids any day, and feel they are definitely one of the best full-time options in Murray.

I was calling to ask some questions regarding their facility and the owner was very rude and hung up on me twice. Terrible service for a Christian Childcare Center.

Do not use this daycare. My child came home starving numerous days because the food they serve is not kid friendly, they are not aloud anything to drink even if they bring there own cup unless it's meaL time. They do nothing with the toddlers, they bounce From teacher to teacher with excuses that they are "shuffling things around tour find order" They let the children run around in a room all day watching tv while the teachers stand at the door talking to eachother.. They also make ur child take a nap even if he is dropped off one hour before nap time and got a full nights sleep. They extend nap time far longer then they should. I picked my child up one day at 3 and the lights where still off with the TV on. After one week my child would scream bloody murder as soon as we pulled up to drop him off saying no mommy no. And he is a social baby loves church and all the other things he does without mom around. They also do not help with potty training like they say they do and do not keep up with diaper changes. My child has never had a diaper rash until attending this "christian" daycare.
