Hugs & Bugs

Hugs & Bugs has been nothing but a positive experience for my two children. They are definitely learning a lot each day & love their teachers. Part of their curriculum includes a charitable cause each month. This morning, they took a trip to the Toys for Tots drive held by Wixy and each child donated a toy. Afterwards they went out for breakfast (paid by Hugs & Bugs). Personally I feel that the negative reviews are isolated incidents and don't represent the program as a whole.

We took our son here for a few months. One day when I came to pick up my son, I heard a teacher SCREAMING at a child (and I mean SCREAMING, I could hear her clear from the other end of the school). Later I approached the director of the program and explained that I felt this was very inappropriate and that I expected my child would not be SCREAMED at this way. She said she agreed it was not appropriate and that she would speak to the teachers. A few days later when my father went to drop my son off, he was told my son no longer had a spot. My husband went in to see what was going on, and was given a letter stating that due to the fact that I did not agree with their discipline techniques, my child was no longer allowed to attend. He was also explained to that the teacher had only been screaming at the child because he was an AUTISTIC child!!! My husband, whose brother is autistic, was furious! NO ONE should take their children here, it is AWFUL!!!

Poor management , I was guranteed spot for after school care and received a letter 2 weeks before school started saying they were full . I called Dorella wich is one of the owners and she told me she didn't have signal on vacation for two weeks !!!! Yea ok. So later come to find out they were not full and picked another family with 2 children of my daughter . They tell you in the beginning if you sign up for summer camp and pay your 160.00 per week your guaranteed a spot for fall. Sorry that's False ! They lied to me . Their guarantee Isn't worth anything ! They pick and choose who they want and don't want , it's pretty obvious . I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for child care or pre school there are other options ! So after 1 year of pre school and 2 years summer camp I moved my child down the road to a diferent school where she is much happier and the people are truly genuine . Sorry hugs and bugs you failed ! 1 star and 2 ????.....
