This daycare is the most loving, caring and generous facility that exists in the State of CT. My children are so happy going to "school" every day at the academy and they are just as happy at the end of their day. The teachers and staff are the greatest and highly educated! My children are so bright and definitely excel in all levels of learning and we owe it to Pride and Joy! There are pictures emailed to you while you are at work showing all of the activites of your child and the happy smiling faces speak the absolute truth!
Please contact Pride and Joy and see the positive and joyful atmosphere for yourself! This place is a piece of Heaven on Earth !
We are so very happy with the services provided by Pride and Joy Learning Academy. They consistently go above and beyond to not only meet the needs of my children but our family needs as well. The faculty is well educated and prepared to work with this age group. (I write faculty as they do not employ babysitters.)They provide such a wide vairiety of activities and special events for families to participate along side our children. We looked at several other centers and we feel lucky to have found Pride and Joy Learning Academy. We are confident with the services we receive at Pride and Joy Learning Academy. We highly reccomend Pride and Joy!
Not parent friendly at all. It is difficult for a parent to voice even the slightest concern without getting it thrown back in their faces. The director (Manny) never accepts any responsibility of her staff or daycare. She directs all issues toward the child. This daycare uses time outs as the main way they discipline. My child is 3 and was timed out for over a half hour. I observed other children timed out regularly! The outside play area is dirty and unkept. Prices have gone up too!!!! PARENTS BEWARE!!! It is not as rosey there as you might think!!!

About the Provider
The Academy has programs for children ranging in age from six (6) weeks to five (5) years (entrance into kindergarten). We welcome children of all ethnic, racial and religious backgrounds. All children regardless of ability or disability are welcomed and included in the Academy’s program. We are a State Licensed and NAEYC Accredited center.
