Our Philosophy

It is our beliefs that the first five years of a child’s life is the most important years and therefore, it is essential that the teachers and adults in their lives support their physical, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being. It is also our beliefs that children learn best when there is a rich responsive learning environment where children can engage in valuable learning experiences.

Our center strives to offer the community a program, which encompasses the highest standard in early care and education within a rich environment. A supportive learning environment for young children includes a place that allows children to explore independently, to discover and play, and to allow the staff to focus on the needs of individual children.

Throughout the center, emphasis is placed on the growth and development of the whole child. Recognizing the fact that children grow and develop at different rates, learning activities are provided to enhance their development.  Materials available to the children are developmentally appropriate according to the age and development of the children in the group. We also provide accessibility to adequate materials so that children are able to use them independently.

Parents are their children’s primary caregivers, and our role as caregiver is to work with parents to meet the needs of their children and the family. We strive to individualize for the child and the family; we provide education that empowers the child and help parents feel in control of their child’s care. We welcome parents to the center as they play a very important role in decision making about their child’s care. They also help us to understand their child likes, dislikes, and most of all their temperament.

Our Center is the basic framework through which the child learns early socialization skills such as interactions with various cultures. Our community is built on this foundation and as a result, the role of the culture in children’s learning is very important.  We incorporate cultural activities and materials in our classroom and help children learn their culture and other children’s cultural values.

Our center maintains quality in childcare and because of this; we take pride in hiring the best for our preschool. We believe in having an effective Program Director who knows quality and what it stands for, one who is well rounded, with education, experiences and love for children.
