I have used this provider for more than 6 months

After a bad experience in another program, I brought my daughter to Holy Cross Kid Preschool with great apprehension. I wasn’t sure I could trust anyone to care for her and teach her as well as I expected. I was initially impressed with the nurturing teachers and attentive director - and my experience only grew more positive from there. As we continued in the program with both our children, it was clear that Holy Cross Kids became more than just a Preschool to us. It truly became an extended family for us, with lasting friendships we continue to enjoy. Because it isn’t an especially large school, every teacher knows every student – no matter what class they are in. I found this to be a great comfort, as did my kids. My kids were greeted by name and I never doubted that their preschool environment was safe, loving, and rich with learning. For some, the true test of a preschool program is kindergarten-readiness and I can say without question that Holy Cross Kids prepared my kids beautifully. They started kindergarten able to write and read sight words, walk in line, wait their turn, get along with peers, follow instructions, take care of their belongings….and on and on. I was proud when their kindergarten teachers asked what preschool they attended because it was “only” a half-day program! Now that my youngest is in “big kid school”, I miss the closeness of the Holy Cross Kids Family. I recommend Holy Cross Kids Preschool wholeheartedly to anyone who will listen!

I am kind of a person who never write a comment, but I save this special occasion for this school. To be fair, I would say that the facilities is Ok, the price is very reasonable, but the personnels are horrible. ( of course, not all of them are but at least the people who are in charge of my son's class - Miss S and Miss M)
I sent my DS there since he was 1, and he is fine at that time because he hasn't moved around much. However, his second year is totally different.
The first month, we noticed that he doesn't like to say hi or bye bye to his caregivers, even if we asked him to do it (normally is he waves and say hi to every stranger on the street kind of boy)
Second, sometimes he freaks out in the morning when we take him to school.
Third, occasionally he came from with a very full diaper and a dirty butt. Once, when I picked him up, he told me "Mommy, dodo in diaper"
Fourth, he started saying " I am so sorry" all the time and for no reason.
One time, my husband came pick him up and he saw Ms. S (the chubby lady) yanked my son's hand to pull him to the door because he haven't responded to her order yet. And when she saw my husband looked at her, she pretends to tickle him like they are playing. And my husband said he had funny feelings about it.
And Ms. M is always cold and right into business. When we drop him off, I feel like she just want me to hurry and get out of there. And most of the time, she talks without looking in my face.
Lastly, the kind of comments they wrote in his folder will be: "He needs to learn to keep his hands to himself", "he needs to lower his voice", "he needs to learn to listen to instructions" etc.. (Wow I wish I can teach my 2yo all of that !)
We decided to pull him out after the second month and we informed them 2 weeks in advance so they can take in the new kid. However, after that the manager and both the teachers avoid eye contact and talking with us. Just answer when I asked something. And before the month even ended, one of the teacher asked me if I want to pick up all of his stuff or want to come back the next day. And I said : "you know what , just end it today and be done with". And I feel like they can't wait to get me and my son out of there.
In the end, I am happy to do that because I don't feel my son is truly cared and loved there.
