Springs of Lifer Children's Center

By giving this center a 2 is only because when my children started attending 3 years ago they were great and over the past year and a half the quality has gone straight down hill. They have managed to let many qualified teachers leave because they did not want to become memebers of their church. The Directors they have placed in charge of the two center i am familiar with have no back ground in running a day care facility. Structure and disicpline are on the back burner. The children are able to get away with hitting, kicking, cussing, and name calling because the teachers incharge of the class are too busy playing on their phones. I have been in many times to drop off my children and pick them up and seen the teachers not enteracting with the children in any means. My kids have cried many of mornings about having to go to daycare because the kids are mean. I have brought this to the attention of the teachers and directors and have seen no improvement or even true genuine heart felt care in response. I was even promised transportation to and from preschool for my child and a week into it they call me on a friday night at 5:50pm to tell me that they would no longer transport my son and that I would have to find other means. Mind you it is Friday 5:50 pm and I was off the whole day and never heard a word. They know I work on Monday through Thursday and have no way to look for other day cares. I then have to pay someone else more money to watch my son before school and to transport him to school on top of paying for the day care to have him on full time hours. so my expenses went up 100.00 a month because of them dropping me like a bad habbit. I have made several attempts to talk to the executive director who will not call me back. when looking at the Springs of Life Church profile the Executive directors profile is on there who has no background in child care. He has background in sales and marketing. Sounds like a great choice to have in charge of your child care centers. One of the requirements to working for the child care centers is that you have to be a member of their church and in this aspect you have below expectations for staff. I haven't run across many teachers who truely care about children or even act like they want to work with children or even want to interact with the parents. If you are looking for somewhere to drop your children this is the place but if you are looking for someone to actually care about your children and your family and true religious beliefs and values don't bother because they will not uphold any values and you mid as well let a bunch of teenage kids watch your kids.
