Scribbles and Giggles Pawnee

With a 10 year history in childcare, and 4 young children of their own, owners Misti and Darrick Stephen started the first Scribbles and Giggles location at 200 S. 199th St. in October of 2010. Just 6 months later in April of 2011, they opened their second location at 2342 S. Maize Rd. in West Wichita. They were full within 3 weeks. With their reputation for excellence in childcare and the buzz around the community about the new childcare center in town they decided to open a third location. In January 2012 they opened their Main Street Center in Goddard at 70% capacity.
This small family owned company has grown at this rate of speed because of the heart and dedication that goes into every decision made. Scribbles and Giggles Children’s Academy is known in the community as the fastest growing childcare center in Wichita. With their unparalleled vision for what childcare should be, they have created a huge gap between them and other childcare centers in the area. They offer a completely different childcare experience in which families are more part of an extended family than
just a number in a big corporation. Putting families first and ensuring that they hire only staff that are in line with their vision has rocketed the company to success.
Scribbles and Giggles Children’s Academy serves children ages 2 weeks to 12 years of age. They have with 2 permanent locations under Scribbles and Giggles, Inc. which are family owned and managed. In addition to full day childcare, they offer drop in care, part time care and a latchkey program for school age kids. They have also partnered with Dinner on Us to allow parents to pick up pre-ordered meals at the center when they pick up their children.
