I have used this provider for less than 6 months

This facility is definitely not able to handle children that need extra attention. My son can be a handful at times. Lots of energy and not focused. Once the issue was brought to our attention we began trying to work on it. Had someone coming in to the school to,help figure out how to help him. Had him evaluated and found out he he some sensory issues. Informed the school of this and the director has no clue what sensory issues were. Everyday they would say how he wasn't sitting still ummm hello this is not something that is treated overnight. Let them know he would be getting OT the very next day. 2 days after informing them of his diagnosis they said they couldn't handle him. So unless your child stays perfectly still and always listens. They do not allow them to be kids here. I would not recommend then to anyone. Wish i would of listened to my gut and the reviews I read and choose differently. The director says how she understands cause her son has issues but she expects fixes overnight and anyone who knows anything about sensory issues knows its not an overnight fix.

I worked for the osprey location, and would have to say that my experience was not very good. As an employee I was belittled and made to feel very uncomfortable. I pray that the leadership has changed and that the employees are not as clickish as they were then. I am now a Director and owner of my own daycare and I am glad my short experience did not keep me from a life long dream. Sometimes people just do not know how to treat others. It is difficult to stay on a job and teach children when you are laughed at behind your back and treated with disrespect. I have forgiven and have moved on. This experience has showed me how not to treat my own employees.

About the Provider

The field of early childhood education is fairly new and continues to develop as we learn more about how young children learn. Every parent knows that their young child, while amazingly brilliant, thinks and learns differently than they do as an adult. Still, many programs try to educate young children in ways that are more suited to adult learners. Academic programs that rely on rote learning and expect children to memorize and practice drills are actually reminiscent of the way our grandparents were schooled. At Creative World, our teachers have high expectations for young children, but recognize that they learn in unique ways and use techniques that are tailored for the age and ability of the child. Instead of attempting to cover skills, we integrate them daily into our curriculum. We engage children's intellect by focusing on how children learn and process information. Their questions become the basis of our teaching and through investigating questions and continuous assessment, children become lifelong learners. Weekly, children participate in experiences that promote their cognitive, social and physical development. Instead of merely considering a checklist of accomplishments, we combine experiential activities and interesting content to educate every child to their potential.

Common questions

The answers people ask us for most often.

How do I contact a provider I found here?

In most cases the provider’s direct number is included in their listing. When it is not, we list the number of the Child Care Licensing Program — you may call that number for more information, or search for the provider online.

Will ChildcareCenter pass a message on to a provider for me?

No. ChildcareCenter only provides information, so enrolment questions, tuition questions and job enquiries need to go to the provider directly using the contact details on their listing. We cannot forward them and we cannot share contact details a provider has not published.

I run a daycare — how do I correct or remove my listing?

Use suggest an update on your listing to correct any detail, or claim the listing to manage it yourself. If you have closed or no longer provide care, contact us and we will update the listing to show that.
