About this daycare... keeva the owner at first comes off very warm and welcoming. I noticed the first day my child went I packed exactly 10 diapers only one was used the entire 8 hours. The second day she was changed 2x in 8 hours, along with me picking my child up her onesie was never snapped, she was always hungry, thirsty. The following week I brought a reusable pull-up meaning once it’s peed in u can take it off child wash it and reuse it I told keeva that and to put on her diaper if it happens, well... when I picked my child up winter I might add she was wearing someone else’s pull-up with her already peed in reusable diaper on top of the pull-up meaning her clothes were soaking wet by the time I picked her up. Keeva then told me she didn’t know what happened. My daughter only went here for 10 days total. I packe a brand new pack of diapers with 30 in there there were only 5 left keeva didn’t know what happened to them either?? I feel that’s a lot in 10 days knowing they didn’t change my daughter very often, and they used other ppls items b/c my daughter came home in someone else’s. Keeva states she has never really had any complaints, but I find that hard to believe I only brought my child here because my niece and nephew were going here and my niece only went for 2 months because her hair got cut and once again keeva didn’t know what happened she said it didn’t happen there. So not intentionally trying to give a bad review but being honest b/c I’m not on any assistance I paid out of pocket. She originally told me an my significant other 100 pay upfront on Monday I did as always the week of Xmas she was only there until Wednesday 3 days unpaid her 100 on Monday and when I came to pickup I seen the note on door stating only there until Wednesday so I asked her would the 100 go for next week she said it would be $75 for this week and &75 for next week but she took the whole $100? Left me feeling confused instead of giving me my change back she the sent a text saying since I was new she was only gonna charge $25 per day no problem with that but she told my man $15 and when I asked her she NEVER called him back she the lied and said she didnt she NEVER gave back my $25 she’s owed me cause I stopped taking my daughter cause she was sick for about 2 weeks so she says that was a $25 fee without a 2 weeks notice. My daughter has never really been sick prior to coming here and all she did was threw up like crazy didn’t know why cause keeva could never tell me what she really ate. and I offered to pack her lunch for that reason. I did one day but she said my daughter never touched it wanted what everyone else was eating. I didn’t mind but I know that was a lie as well cause I put everything in a certain way to tell if it was touched it hadn’t been.So I feel in my own experience if u only care about a cheap price for a daycare, or are on assistance this place is for u, I didn’t like it for me I do care I want to know what my child eats drinks how often being changed everything and unfortunately she couldn’t provide any of that for me. As u see she has not too many review and has been doing this 21 years ppl don’t care to take the time to type what happened and how they feel but I do not b/c I’m mad I just hoped things would’ve gone better. I do feel she likes what she does cause she likes the money, but she or her worker don’t pay attention to what going on as well as keeva never knows anything let alone has empathy to make someone feel ok when things do go wrong. I try to support my ethnicity not racist at all but this is why most black companies don’t succeed cause they aren’t professional and feels they know it all cause she has been in business so long. But most ppl don’t care they just know it’s cheap she seems cool and they probably don’t ask questions just drop off and go... but not me. I hope you all take this very seriously if you are a very concerned parent like me hope this helped.
Upon visiting and interviewing the daycare before dropping my child off she seems like she love what she does and her and her husband are very nice and warm will make u feel welcomed. U heard about her from word of mouth and I've had pretty horrible experiences with in home daycares but with everyone talking about how good she is I thought to give her a try. Ok it's only been a a month and some change my child has come back clothes never fixed, diapers wet constantly, slight Tasha bottom always hungry and thirsty. I brought my own cup for my child day when I picked up I noticed that it hadn't been cleaned properly it had creamy stinky thick buildup around it from milk juice etc... as it it weren't being taken apart and just threw in dishwasher.i am very picky with my child and yes cleanliness mattters most to me... her toys are extremely dirty with all the help she has her toys need to. Be cleaned more often, her workers never seem to pay much attention to the kids and talk among themselves or know what has happened when you ask them questions I didn't like that at all.. she always have a lot of new face round to me big problem cause I don't want everyone changing my child it's personal and too many ppl down there looking and doing things differently. As far as the owner keeva she nice but not apologetic ever when u tell her things, she money hungry hungry she tell u different prices and make u feel stupid.not professional at all.. doesn't give u receipts or write down any info on your child to let you know anything. So overall I was very disappointed with the services I received but others may like the price and many parents don't ask questions and just drop off and pickup without caring to ask anything or know anything just like the price. She initially told me they do learning things I stil haven't seen anything learning all the kids do is watch tv from what I've seen. The workers also seem ghetto and if u stay and sit around long enough you'll see they're not as clean as keeva say they are. I do not like this daycare environment, the workers it's small too many older kids around too many younger ones. I don't like the staff or the owner. NOT PROFESSIONAL!!!
Love this daycare our three boys go there and we love it.
