Description: My home child care program operates year round with these exceptions: we are closed on all major holidays. We offer child care week days between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm. Our small family style grouping provides some great nurturing experience for the older children and lots of loving stimulation for the younger ones. Instead of a detail lesson plan, we prefer to use our energy to interact with the children and provide activities that will be of interest and just the right challenge for each of them. We focus more on developing social skills. Our day is flexible and we try to talk about important experiences. The materials the children use are intended to help them learn through hands on experience so they can test their own ideas and develop their creativity. Janice is great- the facility is so clean!!! I looked at many different facilities, most were too expensive. Janice is a great price and I didn't even cry when I dropped my son of for the first time! I feel so confident in my son's wellbeing while he is with her.
